Finish Carpenter / Installer – Ongoing Gig-Based Work (Most Weeks)

Summit Design & Fabrication LLC is seeking an experienced finish carpenter / installer to work on a gig-by-gig basis, but could turn full time if quality professional and jobs line up. We are a growing residential remodeling and fabrication company with consistent projects and a strong reputation for quality and professionalism.

What We’re Looking For

A skilled, dependable tradesperson who:
• Takes pride in clean, precise work
• Shows up on time and communicates clearly
• Works well independently and alongside a small crew
• Treats clients’ homes with respect and professionalism

Preferred Experience (not all required, but most)
• Finish carpentry & trim installation
• Cabinet installation (kitchen, bath, built-ins)
• Interior door installation (pre-hung & slab)
• Light framing and punch-list framing
• Drywall repairs & small installs
• Painting & finish touch-ups

Requirements
• Own tools appropriate for finish and light carpentry work
• Reliable transportation
• Professional appearance and attitude
• Ability to work in occupied homes
• Prior carpentry or remodeling experience (no helpers or labor-only roles)

Work Structure
• Gig-by-gig / project-based (not hourly employment)
• We typically have work available most weeks
• Flexible scheduling depending on project scope
• Ideal for an experienced carpenter who wants steady side work or prefers independent contracting

Pay
• Competitive, based on skill level and scope of work
• Paid per project or per day, depending on the job
• Prompt payment for quality, reliable work
