The Role

We are looking for a dependable Cook to join our kitchen team and help deliver consistent, high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment. This role is ideal for someone who works well under pressure, follows kitchen rules and recipes, and takes pride in preparing food correctly and on time. The right candidate is punctual, organized, and able to keep up during busy breakfast and lunch service while maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards.

Reliability, teamwork, and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

Cook breakfast and lunch items with consistency, proper portioning, and quality presentation.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation at all times.
Assist with food prep, stocking, and basic inventory as needed.
Open the kitchen on assigned days, including early morning setup (starting at 6:00 AM).
Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure smooth and timely service.
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department guidelines.
Prepare daily specials and soups following house recipes and established menu standards.
What We’re Looking For

Previous experience as a cook or line cook in a professional kitchen.
Strong basic cooking skills, especially breakfast and comfort-style meals.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, family-style restaurant.
Dependable and punctual, with the ability to open and prepare the kitchen for service.
Team-oriented attitude with good communication skills.
