Security Camera Technician (Independent Contractor – Ongoing work)

Established Central Florida low-voltage and security systems company is seeking a reliable Security Camera Technician / Independent Contractor for a long-term commercial maintenance assignment.

This role requires a full-year commitment with monthly billing and strict activity and time tracking. This is not a one-time or short-term position.

Scope of Work
Routine maintenance and cleaning of IP security camera systems
Troubleshooting non-network camera issues
Camera adjustments and replacements (equipment provided)
Field service across multiple commercial locations

Work Structure
Independent Contractor (1099)
Full-year commitment required
Approximately 4 days per week
Approx. 120–130 hours per month
Combination of scheduled maintenance and service tickets

Compensation
Fixed monthly compensation
Billed monthly
Compensation applies strictly to this assignment only

Tracking & Accountability (Required)
Daily time tracking required
Timesheets must be submitted for all work performed
Site visits and service activity must be logged
Tracking is required for billing and compliance

Requirements
Experience with IP security camera systems
Ability to work independently and professionally
Reliable transportation (truck or van preferred)
Own basic tools and ladders
Comfortable with Central Florida travel
Strong communication and dependability

Personal commute time is not compensated
