Class A Mechanic Support

We are a transportation company seeking a reliable and skilled individual to join our team. This is a 1099 independent contractor position, so corporation status is required (must have an active LLC or similar business entity).

The ideal candidate will have a Class A CDL license and will perform a mix of duties:

Move trucks from our mechanic shop to our yard (and vice versa).

Transport trucks from terminal to dealerships or other shops as needed.

Perform light to moderate mechanical and maintenance assistance (semi-mechanical knowledge is a big plus: basic troubleshooting, minor repairs, maintenance work).

Assist in general shop tasks when not driving (inspections, fluid checks, basic servicing, etc.).

Requirements:

Valid Class A CDL license (required to drive semi-tractors/trucks, manual and automatic).

Comfortable doing light mechanical and maintenance work (not necessarily heavy diagnostic work, but basic mechanical knowledge helpful).

Reliable, responsible, able to drive safely.
