Job Description
Ozzie’s Diner is looking for a friendly, reliable, and energetic Cook to join our team. If you love great food, classic diner vibes, and working in a fast-paced but supportive environment, we’d love to meet you!
What We’re Looking For:
MUST SPEAK SPANISH
MUST BE OVER THE AGE OF 30
3 YEARS MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
• Positive attitude & great customer service skills
• Ability to multitask and handle busy rushes
• Team-player mindset
• Weekend availability preferred
• Previous serving experience is a plus but not required
Responsibilities Include:
Previous experience as a line cook, prep cook, or short-order cook preferred
Ability to work in a fast-paced diner environment during busy shifts
Strong knowledge of basic cooking techniques (grilling, sautéing, frying, prep)
Ability to follow recipes, portion control, and plating standards
Experience preparing classic American diner food is a plus
Strong attention to cleanliness, food safety, and kitchen sanitation
Ability to multitask and stay organized under pressure
Team-oriented with a positive, reliable attitude
Ability to communicate clearly with kitchen staff and management
Must be punctual, dependable, and hardworking
Flexible availability, including mornings, nights, and weekends
Pay: STARTING AT $18.50 UP TO $31.50
