Tire Technician

Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and hard-working Tire Technician to join our local team. In this role, you will be the backbone of our shop, ensuring our customers’ vehicles are safe and road-ready. You’ll handle everything from routine tire rotations and balances to identifying more complex wheel issues. If you enjoy hands-on work in a fast-paced environment and take pride in a job well done, we want to hear from you. You must speak spanish and at LEAST ONE YEAR EXPERIENCE as a tire technician.

Key Responsibilities
Tire Services: Professionally mount, balance, rotate, and repair tires on a variety of passenger vehicles and light trucks.
Vehicle Inspections: Perform basic safety checks (checking tire pressure, tread depth, and looking for signs of irregular wear or damage).
Equipment Operation: Safely operate floor jacks, hoists, tire changers, and balancing machines.
Customer Interaction: Explain tire conditions and service recommendations to customers in a clear, friendly manner.
Shop Maintenance: Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards; assist with inventory and stocking tire racks.

Safety Compliance: Follow all shop safety protocols.

Required Qualifications
Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50–75 lbs repeatedly and stand for long periods.
Technical Aptitude: Previous experience in an automotive shop is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate with a strong mechanical interest.
Valid Driver’s License: Must have a clean driving record to move customer vehicles in and out of the service bays.
Attention to Detail: Precision is key to ensuring wheel weights are accurate and lug nuts are torqued to spec.
Reliability: Punctuality and a strong work ethic are essential for our local team.
