Job Description

We are looking for someone with keen attention to detail and strong organizational skills to support our office. The right person will be friendly, good with people, well spoken, and have excellent time management skills. This position is full time 8 hour shifts during office hours, Monday - Friday.The Human Resources Manager is responsible for maintaining and enhancing human resources for multiple restaurants and an administrative company by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations policies, programs and practices. This position is responsible for overseeing and maintaining all HR functions, recruiting, benefits, payroll and tax accounts, and compliance.Operations:
Manages the Payroll & Benefits Coordinator and Administrative Assistant, directing work as neededManages HR vendor relationships and ensures accuracy of billing and execution of established contracts (payroll platform, insurance brokers, etc.)Creates and maintains HR budget (this includes the HR budget items for all restaurants as well as the administrative HR budget)Administers FMLA and other leave programs to ensure state and federal complianceConducts regular audits of all HR related Quickbooks and Restaurant365 accounts; also responsible for year end reconciliation of said accountsCompletes quarterly tax audits and oversees correction of any necessary errorsManages all new hire on-boarding procedures and practicesAdministers all employee benefits programs to include Health, Dental, Vision, and 401k plansWorks to proactively educate the staff of HR and safety related issuesMaintains compliance of all annual reporting; including but not limited to EEO, Non-discrimination, OSHA 300, and 1095’sMaintains the companies’ WOTC programEnsures all legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable HR federal and state requirements, conducting investigations when necessary, and maintaining recordsMaintains all staff and management policies, procedure handbooks and employment documentsMaintains business performance metrics relevant to HR such as turnover and retention rateResponds to all harassment or discrimination concerns; drives investigation of said concerns and ensure appropriate documentation is maintained.Maintains work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions in the office and at the restaurantsMaintains recruiting, interviewing, and evaluation programs as well as training managers on candidate selectionMaintains all personnel files and coordinates regular audits to ensure accuracyIs available to managers for policy guidance and review such as disciplinary actionMaintains all business insurance contracts including general liability and workers’ compensation; this includes filing claims, reporting loss runs, and obtaining and evaluating renewalsAssists restaurant management with employee coaching and development, discipline, and mediationOther duties as assignedOther Qualifications:
Must be at least 21 years of ageMust be able to communicate, write, and understand EnglishAt least 5 years professional experience in human resources management, preferably in restaurantsTyping skills, including a proficiency with 10-keyHuman resources related degree preferredPHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certification preferredExperience with MS Word, MS Excel, Google AppsMust sign confidentiality agreementLocally Grown Restaurants offers a wide variety of benefits, including:
