Hours: 10–20 hours/week (steady ongoing work)
Schedule: Mostly weekday daytime (flexible scheduling)

About the Work:

Bethel Residency operates multiple shared-living homes (room & board). We’re hiring a reliable deep cleaner to help keep homes sanitary, safe, and consistently “move-in ready” clean. (supplies provided)

This is not a quick “surface tidy.” This is real deep cleaning.

Scope of Work (Deep Clean Checklist)

You’ll be doing thorough weekly deep cleans across 6 homes. A typical expectation is ~4 hours per home per week (often completed in one visit per home).

Examples of deep-clean tasks include:

Bathrooms: toilets, tubs/showers, sinks, mirrors, tile, grout

Floors: vacuum, mop, edges/corners, under/around furniture as needed

Baseboards, door frames, light switches, high-touch areas

Kitchen: counters, stove exterior, microwave, sink, cabinet fronts

Refrigerator clean-outs (as needed): removing old items, wiping shelves/drawers

Trash removal + replacing liners

Washing & replacing linens

Cleaning appliances and furniture

General sanitation and deodorizing where appropriate

Important Note (Honest Job Preview)

Because these are shared-living homes, occasionally you may encounter bio-mess like urine, feces, or vomit in bathrooms. We want to be upfront: this role may require a strong stomach at times, professionalism, and sanitation-first mindset.

We provide clear expectations and want someone who can handle this calmly and responsibly.

You’ll do great here if you are:

Experienced with deep cleaning (not just standard housekeeping)

Reliable, consistent, and detail-oriented

Comfortable working in occupied homes respectfully

Positive attitude — willing to do the dirty work without drama

Able to follow checklists and take before/after photos when requested

Open to occasional light general labor (small tasks that support the homes)
