Caregiver for Young Client with Cerebral Palsy

We are looking for a competent Caregiver to care for a 22-year old young man with cerebral palsy in a professional and compassionate manner. The ideal caregiver must be patient, energetic, outgoing with a bubbly personality. You should be able to follow instructions and perform a variety of tasks to help the client.

Shift: 7am to 5pm. Monday-Friday

Responsibilities

Help client take prescribed medication
Assist client with personal care and hygiene
Help client with physical therapy exercises
Plan and prepare meals for clients
Perform light housekeeping duties
Be a pleasant and supportive companion
Report any unusual incidents
Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
Skills

Proven experience as a caregiver
Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid (CPR)
Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints
Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards
Respectful and compassionate
Good time management skills
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
Strong ethics
Physical endurance
