Experienced Mechanic Wanted for GMC Truck Resto-Mod Projects - Partner or Paid Gig (San Jose)
Are you a skilled mechanic with experience in resto-mods, engine swaps, restorations, or custom truck builds? I'm looking to team up with someone reliable and creative to tackle a couple of exciting truck projects focused exclusively on GMC models from 1985-1999. The goal is to perform resto-mods with various engine types (e.g., LS swaps, diesel conversions, or performance V8 upgrades), then flip and sell them for profit – turning classic GMCs into modern beasts.
Options:

Partnership: We split the work, costs, and profits 50/50. Bring your tools, expertise, and ideas; I've got the garage space, some parts, and marketing connections.
Paid Work: If you prefer a straightforward gig, I'll pay you hourly or per project (rates negotiable based on experience, $40-60/hr to start).

Projects involve:

Resto-mod on a 1985-1999 GMC Sierra 1500 – engine swap, updated transmission, custom suspension, body work, and modern electronics.

Must have: Experience with GM trucks, own tools, references, and a passion for resto-mods. Clean record and reliable transportation a plus. Located in Rancho Cordova – work in my shop or yours if equipped.
