Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Clerk (AP/AR)

Full-Time | $19.50–$22.00/hr | Stable Office Environment

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established, multi-location automotive organization in Southern California seeking a reliable and detail-oriented AP/AR Clerk to join their accounting team. Position Overview

The AP/AR Clerk is responsible for supporting daily accounting operations, with a focus on vendor reconciliation, invoice processing, and maintaining accurate financial records. You’ll work closely with internal departments and external vendors to ensure timely and accurate payment processing.

Key Responsibilities

Compile, review, and maintain accounts payable and receivable records

Review invoices for accuracy, proper documentation, and approvals

Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies

Communicate with vendors and internal departments regarding billing and payments

Maintain AP/AR spreadsheets, reports, and filing systems

Support general ledger reconciliation and accounting accuracy

Qualifications

Prior automotive dealership accounting experience strongly preferred

Experience with dealer management systems (Tekion a plus)

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Professional communication and customer service abilities

Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
