Salesman / Sales Representative

A Filipino Food Company is seeking a motivated and reliable Salesman to join our team in Hayward, CA. This position is responsible for developing customer relationships, increasing product sales, and expanding our presence within assigned territories. The ideal candidate is driven, customer-focused, and familiar with food distribution or wholesale sales.

Key Responsibilities

Promote and sell company food products to existing and prospective customers
Maintain strong relationships with current clients and provide excellent customer service
Identify new sales opportunities and grow assigned accounts
Visit customers regularly to present products, promotions, and pricing
Process orders accurately and follow up to ensure timely delivery
Meet or exceed assigned sales targets and goals
Collect market and customer feedback and report to management
Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer accounts
Any other tasks assigned by Supervisor

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in sales sales-related field
Previous sales experience preferred (food industry experience a plus)
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Basic computer and order-entry skills
Ability to speak Tagalog and knowledge of Filipino culture is a plus
Work Environment & Physical Requirements

Frequent local travel within assigned sales territory
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs as needed
Combination of office, warehouse, and fieldwork
Pay: From $24.00 per hour
