About Us
At K Family Law, PC, we are a small, well-established family law firm that believes excellent legal work and a healthy professional life are not mutually exclusive. Our practice is built on trust, collaboration, and respect—for our clients and for each other. We intentionally maintain reasonable caseloads, low billable hour requirements, and a supportive environment so our attorneys can do their best work without burnout.

The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Family Law Associate Attorney to join our growing practice. This is a partially remote position, ideal for an attorney who is confident in family law, values flexibility, and wants to be part of a collegial, non-toxic firm culture. Some in-person office time is required in order to build rapport with the team.
You will handle substantive family law matters while enjoying the autonomy and balance that are often missing in traditional firm settings.

What You’ll Do
Manage your own family law caseload, including dissolution, custody, support, and related matters
-Draft pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements
-Appear at hearings, mediations, and conferences (remotely or in person as required)
-Communicate professionally and compassionately with clients
-Collaborate with firm leadership and staff in a supportive, team-oriented environment

What We’re Looking For
-Active California Bar membership in good standing
-Prior family law experience (litigation experience strongly preferred)
-Ability to work independently while remaining responsive and accountable
-Strong written and oral advocacy skills
-Professional judgment, reliability, and a client-centered mindset

Why You’ll Want to Work Here
-Partially remote position
-Low billable hour requirements that respect your time and well-being
-401(k) with employer matching
-Competitive compensation based on experience
-Supportive leadership and a genuinely positive firm culture
-Opportunity to grow long-term with a firm that values people over volume

How to Apply
Please submit your resume and a brief cover letter describing your family law experience and what you’re looking for in your next role.
