Lead Maintenance Technician (Leadership Growth Opportunity)

We are seeking a full-time Lead Maintenance Technician with solid hands-on experience in
commercial building maintenance to join our growing team in the Santa Barbara area.
This role is ideal for a dependable, skilled technician who takes pride in their work and is interested in
long-term growth, leadership development, and increased responsibility. The technician will work
closely with company leadership and the foreman, maintenance staff, vendors, property supervisors,
and tenants, with opportunities for increased responsibility over time.
Experience & Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in commercial or multi-site building maintenance preferred
- Ability to work independently and manage daily tasks with minimal supervision
- Strong working knowledge of building systems and property maintenance
- Ability to troubleshoot, prioritize, and resolve maintenance issues efficiently
- Experience completing work orders, inspections, and basic reporting
- Clean, professional appearance and strong work ethic
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Strong communication skills (phone, email, and text)
- Leadership mindset and team-oriented attitude
- Reliable vehicle required (truck and tools are a plus)
-Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Light carpentry and general repairs
- Plumbing repairs and fixture replacement
- Electrical troubleshooting and minor repairs
- Drywall installation and repair
- Safe and effective use of power tools
- Inventory control and materials coordination
