Job Description

Superintendent

We are hiring a Superintendent who leads from the front, runs a clean jobsite, and holds the bar high for safety, quality, and coordination. This is an opportunity to sharpen your craft alongside experienced builders, follow proven best practices, and share in the results you help deliver..

What You’ll Do

You will take full responsibility for day-to-day field execution on assigned projects, including:

Coordinate subcontractors (including multi-prime environments when applicable)

Maintain strong working relationships with Owners, Architects, Consultants, and trade partners

Manage and supervise self-performed scopes as needed

Review and process requests for clarification and field questions

Maintain and update as-built documentation

Track field costs and key jobsite items needed to manage construction effectively

Develop the initial project schedule and update it routinely throughout the project

Ensure progress photos are captured consistently during construction

Ensure daily reports are completed accurately and on time

Enforce contract requirements and verify materials and workmanship meet specifications and standards

Review shop drawings and submittals to support trade coordination and sequencing

Support the Project Manager by identifying, documenting, and assisting with pricing change work

Lead implementation of the project safety plan and company safety standards

Partner closely with the assigned Project Manager to keep scope, schedule, and quality aligned

What We’re Looking For

5+ years of Superintendent experience on commercial projects, public works, or DSA K-12 Projects

Strong attention to detail and comfort with basic cost tracking and field metrics

Ability to prioritize, multitask, and stay organized on an active jobsite

Sound judgment and a fact-based approach before issuing documents or decisions to owners or outside agencies

Strong communication skills and a team-first mindset

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Procore, and scheduling tools (MS Project is a plus)

Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
