Job Description
Seeking a reliable and proactive personal assistant to support a military veteran in managing a wide range of personal and administrative responsibilities. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, discreet, organized, patient, compassionate, and capable of handling diverse day-to-day tasks with minimal supervision.
Qualifications & Requirements
• Must pass pre-employment and random drug screening tests
• Must pass financial and criminal background checks
• Possess a current and valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Willingness to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Strong proficiency with household technology, Apple products, and computer platforms
• Highly developed organizational and time management skills
• Proven ability to manage a flexible, evolving schedule
• Resourceful and capable of independent problem-solving; able to use the internet and YouTube for research
• Minimum 5 years of proven experience as a Personal Assistant or similar role
Duties include but not limited to:
• Manage phone communications, take notes, organize ideas and to-do lists
• Accompany veteran to public events with professional demeanor and appropriate attire
• Organize and maintain home office space and manage physical and digital files
• Draft, edit, send, and respond to emails and written correspondence
• Calendar management: schedule and coordinate appointments (e.g., medical, personal, home maintenance, parenting time)
• Research and coordinate travel arrangements including flights, lodging, and ride-sharing updates
• Transportation to/from appointments
• Attending and documenting doctor visits
• Tracking and organizing medications
• Organize and file tax and insurance documents (life, property, medical)
• Conduct personal research (shopping, health and fitness, financial services)
• Facilitate Zoom meetings and other virtual communications
• Monitor and summarize social media updates as needed
• Run local errands (e.g., post office, dry cleaning, banking)
• Attend meetings, take notes, and manage follow-up tasks
• Support completion and submission of Veteran Administration paperwork
• Provide ongoing tech support and guidance for Apple products
• Able and willing to perform household upkeep

• Willingness to learn
• Reliable; can tell time and be on time; communicates critical information in timely manner
