Part-Time Bookkeeper (HVAC Service Business)

~15–25 Hours per Week | In-Office or Hybrid

About the Position
We are seeking a dependable Part-Time Bookkeeper to support our HVAC service business. This role focuses on keeping financial records accurate, organized, and ready for payroll processing and CPA review.

You will work closely with the office team and operations to ensure payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable stay clean and on schedule.

Primary Responsibilities

Prepare weekly payroll data for external payroll provider

Review and validate time records

Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable

Enter and reconcile transactions in QuickBooks Desktop

Perform bank and credit card reconciliations

Maintain organized financial documentation

Support month-end and year-end reporting for CPA review

Systems & Software

QuickBooks Desktop

Field Service Management (FSM) software
(similar to Housecall Pro, ServiceTitan, Jobber)

Basic Excel or spreadsheet reporting

Requirements

Prior bookkeeping or payroll support experience

Strong QuickBooks Desktop knowledge

Familiarity with service-based or trades businesses preferred

High attention to detail and deadline discipline

Ability to follow documented processes
