Position Summary
The QC Technician I is responsible for inspecting materials and finished products to ensure they meet company quality standards. This role supports production by identifying defects, performing inspections and tests, and documenting results to maintain consistent product quality.

Key Responsibilities

Inspect raw materials, components, and finished goods for quality and defects

Perform product testing using measuring and testing equipment

Take samples, record inspection results, and prepare quality reports

Ensure compliance with quality standards and manufacturing procedures

Compare products against samples, charts, and templates for consistency

Remove defective materials and assist with proper product handling

Pack finished goods per instructions and ensure packaging quality

Other Responsibilities

Maintain cleanliness of work areas, including sweeping, mopping, and wiping down surfaces

Clean restrooms, machines, and office areas as needed

Attend required trainings and maintain organized workspaces

Assist other departments and support special projects as assigned

Follow all safety policies and procedures at all times

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required

6–12 months of quality control or manufacturing experience preferred

Ability to read, write, and follow instructions in English

Basic math skills and strong attention to detail

Ability to work in a fast-paced, production environment

Reliable attendance and punctuality

Flexibility to work extended hours and non-traditional schedules

Physical & Work Environment

Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift

Occasionally lift up to 30 lbs

Manufacturing environment with noise, heat, and required PPE

Must be open to working 12 hour shifts
