Position
Title: Diagnostic Technician
Location: Midas – Lodi, CA
Schedule: Full-time, in-shop (no remote)

Compensation & Package

Starting at $32/hr and up DOE
Overtime opportunities
Training and advancement into Workflow or Shop Management roles
New Incentive Program – Launching January 2026
Beginning January 2026, Diagnostic Technicians will be eligible for a performance-based incentive program. Your productivity, accuracy, and quality will directly boost your pay — on top of your hourly rate.

Your Role (Performance)

Perform advanced diagnostics and drivability testing
Lead inspections and verify accuracy of repair recommendations
Mentor R+R Technicians and support their development
Deliver clear documentation in RO Writer and digital inspections
Eliminate comebacks through quality, precision, and process
Minimum Standards (Probation)

90-day probation with clear performance expectations
Must consistently deliver accurate diagnostics and comeback-free work
Uphold professionalism and teamwork daily
Meet or exceed billed hours goals
Progression
Diagnostic Technicians can advance into Workflow / QC Management or Shop Management, with earning potential tied directly to leadership and performance.
