Electrical Project Manager / Estimator
Phoenix, AZ
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager / Estimator to join our growing commercial electrical contracting team. This is a full-time, in-office position based in Phoenix, Arizona.

We are looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented professional with several years of commercial electrical experience. Many of our projects involve existing buildings, so strong field intuition and practical problem-solving skills are essential. The ideal candidate understands commercial electrical systems deeply, produces accurate estimates, and can manage projects from bid through completion.

Key Responsibilities
• Attend pre-bid meetings and job walks
• Visit project sites throughout the Phoenix metro area
• Analyze plans, specifications, and customer requirements
• Perform detailed take-offs and prepare competitive bids
• Develop construction schedules
• Identify materials, equipment, and labor requirements
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers
• Support project execution from award through completion

Qualifications & Skills
• Several years of commercial electrical contracting experience
• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
• Knowledge of electrical materials, installation methods, and applicable code requirements
• Ability to perform basic circuitry layouts for power and lighting
• Excellent math skills and strong attention to detail
• Experience with estimating software (Accubid, Bluebeam, McCormick, or similar – specify platform used)
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication skills with customers and internal teams
• Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Comfortable using Windows-based systems and web tools
• Willingness to travel to job sites throughout the Valley

• Valid driver’s license
