We are seeking an experienced Watchmaker / Horology Expert to join our growing luxury timepiece company as an Authentication & Evaluation Specialist. This is an ideal opportunity for a seasoned or retired watchmaker who wants to stay active in the industry — without spending 8 hours a day servicing movements.

🔎 About the Role

As our in-house authentication authority, you will evaluate high-end watches submitted by clients for sale. Your expertise will ensure every timepiece meets our strict standards for authenticity, originality, and condition.

You’ll be the final word on:

Identifying authentic vs. counterfeit components

Detecting aftermarket or non-original parts

Assessing movement integrity and originality

Evaluating case refinishing, dial restoration, and modifications

Verifying correct serial numbers, references, and production periods

Providing detailed condition and authenticity reports

This is a critical, high-trust role within our organization.

10+ years of professional watchmaking experience

Strong ability to identify counterfeit or non-original components

Experience working with high-value timepieces

Meticulous attention to detail

Integrity and discretion

CW21 certification or similar credentials are a plus, but real-world experience is paramount.
