Crane Operator

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and safety-conscious Crane Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience operating various types of cranes in construction, industrial, or heavy-lifting environments. This role requires precision, technical expertise, and a strong commitment to workplace safety. The Crane Operator will be responsible for lifting, moving, and positioning heavy materials and equipment, ensuring that all operations comply with OSHA regulations, company policies, and engineering specifications.

The Crane Operator will collaborate closely with riggers, signal personnel, and project managers to execute complex lifts efficiently and safely. They will also perform routine inspections, maintenance, and troubleshooting of crane equipment, maintain detailed operational logs, and actively contribute to a culture of safety and continuous improvement. This position is critical in supporting project timelines, minimizing risk, and ensuring that heavy-lifting operations are completed accurately and on schedule.

Key Responsibilities

Operate crane equipment to lift, move, and position heavy loads according to job plans and load charts.

Inspect crane and rigging equipment before and after operation; perform routine maintenance and report any defects.

Follow all safety protocols, OSHA regulations, and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.

Communicate with riggers, signal persons, supervisors, and ground crew to coordinate lifts.

Maintain accurate operational logs and documentation.

Assist with setup, teardown, and safe positioning of crane equipment as needed.
