Furniture Repair Tech


Furniture repair company is looking for a road and shop technician.
Job Description:
House calls to inspect damaged furniture items and assess for repairs either on site or in shop.
On site repairs to furniture
Transport and in shop repairs to many different types of furniture
File reports online every day


Furniture repair experience is not required but a huge plus. We will train 100% IF you have the ability to learn quickly. Repairs include everything from basic touch up on modern furniture to complete antique restoration to refinishing.
All tools are provided and a company vehicle is provided for all work related driving.

Ideal candidate is EXTREMELY reliable, professional and well spoken. We deal with a high end and very particular clientele who can be very upset about their damages. You must have strong customer service skills and the ability to calm down angry clients. Mostly clean MVR is needed. Criminal background check completed on ALL hires.
You must be ok with driving a lot as we will cover large areas in California including San Diego, LA, Orange County and all surrounding areas and most days involve some type of schedule on the road. We also handle a small amount of work in Las Vegas.
All travel expenses are paid including lodging and meals if overnight required.
You must be a self starter and not require constant instruction.

Monday through Friday is typical-8-4 or 5. We are not open holidays. Occasional Saturday is almost guaranteed.
We need someone who is clean cut, professional and able to work with and earn the trust of a discerning clientele.

Must Stress the travel aspect. Schedules in California will be regular and run from San Diego to Simi Valley.
Vegas is 1-2 times per month on average. Most trips to Vegas are one night or out and back.
Shop work will be conducted in San Bernardino

Salary will DOE. Usually starting at 25-28 P/H for training and then adjusts from there.
This is a 1099 position.
