Key Responsibilities
Station Setup:
Stocking and organizing their assigned station (grill, fryer, sauté, etc.) with ingredients and supplies before service.
Food Preparation: Chopping, mixing, portioning, and cooking ingredients according to recipes and chef instructions.
Cooking & Plating: Cooking dishes to order, ensuring quality, presentation, and timing align with restaurant standards.
Maintenance & Sanitation: Keeping their work area clean, sanitized, and organized throughout the shift, adhering to health codes.
Teamwork: Communicating with other cooks and chefs to ensure smooth, coordinated service.
Skills Required
Technical Cooking:
Proficient in various cooking methods for their station.
Time Management:
Juggling multiple orders and tasks efficiently.
Organization:
Keeping a well-stocked and clean station.
