Pay Rate:** $20 – $22 per hour
Position Type:** Full-Time
Work Schedule:** 90% Remote / 10% In-Office (as needed)

Tu Defensor Criminalista is a fast-growing criminal defense law firm seeking a, Bilingual Legal Assistant / Paralegal, to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual who is hungry to grow with a firm that is expanding and moving at a fast pace.
Prior legal experience is a plus but not required.
We are willing to train the right candidate who has the right attitude and work ethic.

Qualifications:

* Fluent spoken Spanish (professional, not broken Spanish)
* Strong English communication skills (written and spoken)
* Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
* Comfortable using a laptop and working with technology
* Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented
* Upbeat attitude with a willingness to learn
* Must enjoy helping others during stressful and difficult times

(Written Spanish is not required; however, fluent spoken Spanish with clients is mandatory.)

Responsibilities May Include:

* Communicating with clients by phone and email
* Assisting with legal paperwork and case organization
* Managing multiple tasks and deadlines
* Supporting attorneys and staff as needed

This is a full-time position, primarily remote, with limited in-office work when necessary.
Our office is in Diamond Bar, CA.
