As a Janitorial Staff member, you will help keep schools throughout Huntington Park and the greater Los Angeles area clean, safe, and welcoming for students, staff, and families.

Position: Janitorial Staff

Pay Rate: $18.50 per hour

Location: Huntington Park, CA 90255

Shift: Coverage-based shifts — ideal for flexible schedules

Exact shift times will be discussed with a recruiter.

Job Responsibilities
Cleaning and Maintenance:
• Hallways, common areas, and courtyards
• Cafeterias, restrooms, and eating areas
• Classrooms, offices, and administrative spaces
• Gyms and other recreational areas
Sanitizing High-Touch Surfaces:
• Desks and tables
• Door handles and railings
• Vending machines
• Shared equipment and toys
Additional Duties:
• Use appropriate cleaning chemicals and methods based on surface type
• Communicate with school staff and supervisors regarding supplies or instructions
• Follow all school safety guidelines and COVID-19 protocols

Qualifications
• Prior janitorial, housekeeping, or sanitation experience preferred
• Ability to pass a post-offer background check, drug screen, and TB test
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team

Hiring Requirements
• Valid identification verifying authorization to work in the United States
• Successful completion of required drug screening and background check as a condition of employment
