Underground Utility Technician / Operator

We are seeking an experienced Underground Utility Tradesperson to join our team in the Sacramento area. This role requires hands-on field experience with underground utility installations and site work on active construction projects.

Required Experience & Skills:

Minimum 5 years experience in underground utility construction

Experience with:

Domestic water systems

Fire water & hydrant systems

Storm water systems

Ductile Iron (DI) pipe

Concrete vault installation

Strong knowledge of SWPPP / SWEPS requirements and BMP implementation

Ability to operate:

Excavator

Skid steer

Ability to work independently and as part of a crew

Familiar with trench safety, shoring, and utility coordination

Preferred Qualifications:

OSHA 10 or 30

Experience working on public works or municipal projects

Ability to read plans and utility profiles
