Pest Control Technician - Rodent Exclusion Work - Construction Exp

No pest control experience required but basic construction/maintenance experience is required.

We’re seeking to hire and train a Pest Control Technician who has construction experience enabling them to perform rodent exclusion work. This role involves crawling under houses, in attics, etc. looking for potential openings for rodents into the home. Once identified, you will need to recommend corrective action and pricing to sell the job. Once sold, you will perform the work. Candidates must be skilled in safe debris handling and using hand tools to seal entry points. We will train you to identify pests, trap, bait and other pest control procedures. Responsibilities include completing reports, maintaining customer relationships, recommending preventive measures, and promoting additional services.

Minimum Qualifications
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• 3+ years of proven construction related experience
• Ability to work independently, stay organized, and use CRM/mobile apps
• Experience with hand tools, construction/maintenance, and job bidding
• Skilled in problem-solving, training, and leading technicians

Preferred Qualifications
• Previous rodent exclusion experience
• Driving a company vehicle
• Any pest control related licenses

General Requirements:
• Valid driver’s license with insurable driving record
• Clean background check
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs and work on uneven terrain
• Comfortable digging, kneeling, and navigating steep hillsides
• Ability to stoop, kneel, crawl, bend and lay on stomach or back for periods of time
• Able to speak, write and understand basic English (for safety, customer communication and reporting purposes)
• Comfortable working in varied conditions including confined spaces, damp/dusty areas, hot or freezing environments
• Must be capable of wearing a mask and other PPE
• Capable of regular use of a mobile phone for calls, texts, and software applications
• Ability to drive on highways, bridges, side streets in a variety of road conditions for long periods of time

• Hourly rate $24-$27 per hour DOE
