We are seeking an experienced OTR Flatbed Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting freight across long distances, utilizing flatbed trailers. This role requires a strong focus on safety, route efficiency, and excellent driving skills. Candidates with experience in driving tractor-trailers, refrigerated trailers, tanker trucks, and other specialized equipment are encouraged to apply. COMPENSATION
---------------------------------------------------
> 30% + $50 Tarping for Experienced Flatbed Drivers
> Candidates with Passport, Hazmat, and TWIC are paid 35% flat

RESPONSIBILITIES
---------------------------------------------------
> Safely operate tractor-trailers with flatbed trailers.
> Load and unload freight efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
> Manage route driving schedules to ensure timely deliveries across various locations.
> Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance.
> Secure loads properly on flatbeds or other trailers to prevent shifting or damage during transit.
> Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, freight delivery records, and vehicle maintenance reports.
> Follow all federal and state transportation regulations and company policies.
> Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered during routes.

REQUIREMENTS

> No more than 2 jobs in past 4 years - we don't hire job hoppers!
> Committed to starting a new job with a new company - we don't waste time with flakes!
> Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL class A).
> Proven experience in truck driving, including route driving and freight delivery.
> Ability to load & unload freight using forklifts or other equipment as needed.
> Knowledge of safety procedures related to trucking operations and cargo securement.
> Experience with load management on flatbeds and handling various types of freight such as freight containers or roll-off trucks.
> Strong driving record with a focus on safety and compliance with transportation laws.
> Ability to work independently over long distances and adapt to varying schedules.
> Physical ability to handle loading/unloading tasks and long hours on the road.
