After-School STEM Instructor - Great for Teachers & College Students

Young Engineers Westside Los Angeles is hiring instructors and assistant instructors!

We are an international STEM education program that teaches children engineering, creativity, and critical thinking through hands-on building (LEGO-based models, engineering challenges, robotics, and more).

We are expanding in Los Angeles and looking for enthusiastic, responsible, and engaging individuals who enjoy working with children.

Position: Part-Time STEM Instructor / Assistant Instructor

Location: West LA, Culver City, Beverly Hills, Santa Monica (school sites)
Schedule: Weekdays, primarily afternoons (2pm–6pm typical windows)
Pay: Competitive, based on experience

What you'll do:

• Teach fun, structured STEM lessons to small groups of children
• Lead hands-on building activities
• Manage classroom behavior professionally
• Represent our program positively with schools and parents

(You do NOT need to be an engineer - full training is provided.)

Requirements:

• Responsible, reliable, and punctual
• Comfortable speaking to groups of children
• Positive energy and patience
• Experience with kids is a big plus (teaching, tutoring, camps, coaching, etc.)
• Must be legally allowed to work in the U.S.
• Must be willing to complete background check (for school work)
