🔹 What You’ll Do:

Work aboard a modern Catcher Vessel in the Bering Sea & Gulf of Alaska

Handle various fishing nets and cod ends

Read net plans and perform necessary net repairs (sewing, etc.)

Support safe and efficient vessel operations alongside a skilled crew

🔹 What You Bring:

AB license (Able Seaman)

Recent experience working aboard a commercial vessel

Physical ability to handle demanding conditions (16+ hr workdays, cold/wet environments, heavy lifting)

Solid understanding of English for safety communication

Strong work ethic and ability to live/work in close quarters for extended periods

💰 Compensation:

Crew share pay – based on actual product sales from your trip(s). Your hard work determines your earnings. (We can’t estimate pay due to variable factors like catch size and market price.)

📋 Requirements:

Must pass DOT pre-employment and random drug tests (per USCG)

Able to board/exist via gangplank or Jacob’s ladder

Comfortable ascending/descending steep stairways in all weather

Physically capable of repetitive tasks, lifting 50+ lbs, and wearing survival gear

Willing to live/work in tight quarters and remote locations for 75+ days
