Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Civil / Underground Utility Operator / Operador de Construcción Civil / Utilidades Subte to join our construction team. This role involves operating heavy machinery and performing various underground utility and civil construction tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction site operations, mechanical knowledge, and experience with a variety of heavy equipment. This position offers an opportunity to work on challenging projects that require precision, safety, and efficiency.

Duties

Operate heavy equipment including excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, water trucks, dump trucks, and Caterpillar machinery to perform excavation, grading, trenching, and utility installation.
Conduct horizontal drilling and paving operations as needed for underground utility projects.
Assist with site preparation, material movement, and equipment setup to ensure smooth workflow.
Maintain safety standards by recognizing potential hazards and adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal operation.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
Follow project plans and specifications to ensure accurate installation of utilities and civil structures.
Experience

Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment such as excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, water trucks, dump trucks, and Caterpillar machinery.
Prior work on construction sites involving underground utilities or civil infrastructure is highly preferred.
Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
Experience with horizontal drilling and paving is a plus.
Commercial driving experience is desirable for operating various trucks on-site.
Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in construction environments. This role requires a dedicated professional with strong technical skills in heavy equipment operation and civil construction processes. Candidates should demonstrate reliability, safety consciousness, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment on demanding projects.
