Snack Bar Attendant

Job Summary: A snack bar attendant prepares and serves food and drinks, handles customer transactions, cleans and sanitizes workstations and equipment, manages inventory and supplies in a snack bar setting. Key duties include greeting customers, taking orders, operating a point-of-sale (POS) system, and restocking supplies. Assists with a variety of kitchen related functions as needed. Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed including wrapping, labelling, dating, stocking, storing, rotating and checking temperature of products. Provide a friendly, efficient service to ensure customer satisfaction and a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities:
•Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, provide information about menu items, and handle their food and beverage orders.
•Food & Beverage Service: Prepare and serve food and drinks, maintain food displays, and ensure high-quality product and service.
•Sales & Transactions: Operate the POS system to process customer purchases, handle cash and credit card transactions.
•Cleaning & Sanitation: Keep the snack bar area, equipment, and counters clean and organized, adhering to health and safety regulations.
•Inventory Management: Stock shelves with food, beverages, and disposables, monitor inventory levels, and report when supplies need to be ordered.
•Opening & Closing Duties: Set up the snack bar for daily operations and perform closing procedures to secure the area.
•General Support: Provide support to other staff, assist with guest inquiries, and perform other duties as required.
