Experienced Mechanic/Technician - Tools Provided - Self-Starter Req'd

We are a growing equipment rental company in Santa Ana looking for a skilled, self-directed mechanic to maintain and repair small gasoline & diesel equipment and light vehicles. This role is for someone who does not need constant instruction, can prioritize work intelligently, and understands that efficient, productive work keeps a business moving forward.

What You’ll Work On:
- Small gas & diesel engines
- Skid steers & mini excavators (experience a plus)
- Preventative maintenance (oil, filters, belts, batteries, hydraulics)
- Basic electrical diagnostics
- Keeping equipment rental-ready, safe, and earning
- Occasional local field service at job sites

This Role Is NOT For:
- Anyone who needs step-by-step direction
- People who wait to be told what to do
- Clock-watchers or anyone creating “busy work” instead of real progress

Requirements (Please Read Carefully):
- Proven mechanical experience (small engines, diesel, or equipment)
- Ability to diagnose, prioritize, and execute repairs independently
- Strong time management — paid time is productive time
- Valid driver’s license required
- Own vehicle strongly preferred (job-site service may be required)
- Reliable transportation, punctual, dependable, detail-oriented
- Tools provided
- English required (Spanish a plus, not required)

Pay & Opportunity:
