Job Description

Maintenance Technician – Electrical & Mechanical (1st. Shift)
Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician with strong electrical and mechanical expertise to join our team. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of industrial equipment, including welders, motors, compressors, pneumatic and hydraulic systems. The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem solver who can work efficiently to minimize downtime and ensure safe, reliable equipment operation. Welding experience is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on electrical and mechanical equipment

Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including wiring, circuits, and control components

Inspect, maintain, and repair welders to ensure safe and efficient operation

Diagnose and repair pneumatic and hydraulic systems, including airlines and components

Troubleshoot compressor motors and perform repairs or replacements as needed

Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns and prioritize repairs to minimize production disruptions

Use diagnostic tools to accurately identify mechanical and electrical issues

Collaborate with maintenance and production teams on repair and improvement projects

Follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements

Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance work, inspections, and parts usage

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Maintenance Technician or in a similar role, Job longevity is required!

Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring diagrams, schematics, and controls

Proven experience repairing welders, motors, pneumatic systems, hydraulic systems, and compressors

Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and diagrams

Proficient with diagnostic tools and troubleshooting techniques

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Effective communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment

Commitment to workplace safety and compliance standards

Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, or evenings as needed

Relevant electrical or mechanical certifications or training are a plus

Job Details

Job Type: Full-time

Shift: 1st Shift - Start Time 6AM

Schedule: 8-hour or 12-hour shifts (40 hours per week, plus overtime as required)

Work Setting: In-person
