The Parts Counter Salesman will sell parts to customers over the counter and over the phone and online. Full-time

Skills Preferred:
Experience with the Ideal Outdoor Power Equipment Dealer Software
Knowledge of Chainsaws, Mowers and Zero Turns
• Lifting 50 lbs. or greater
• Teamwork & Collaboration
• Phone Communication
• Parts Inventory management

Behaviors Preferred
• Team Player: Works well as a member of a group

Qualifications
• Organized, positive person
• Ability to read and understand technical information
• Strong communication skills to explain part information to customers and associates
• Experience with Ideal data base and parts inventorying procedures preferred
• Ability to lift or move heavier items

Responsibilities
• Assists all customers in selecting required parts in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner.
• Answers phone calls, providing price quotes and other information.
• Reviews shop estimates to be sure the parts that are ordered are correct and all pricing is in line with the estimate.
• Provides high level of service to customers.
• Pulls and fills orders from stock.
• Pulls orders for shop, making sure all parts are tagged with customer names and job number.
• Follows up on back-ordered parts.
