HIRING - 2 Caregiver Positions - Private Pay

Currently HIRING for TWO (2) separate Caregiver positions:
Both positions are private pay in a large home in Poway serving 2 elderly individuals and their pets. Husband (has dementia with limited diet) and Wife (low mobility with regular diet).


1.) Cook – MUST have at least 2 references to call about cooking abilities. Must speak and understand English well.

We are looking for someone who is comfortable in the kitchen, follows instructions and recipes well. The Gentleman eats a very limited diet of the same items but the Wife would enjoy a different meal each day. Duties include planning and making dinner, serving dinner and then kitchen clean-up after. Dinner shift also feeds the pets at 4:30 pm. Caregiver will also need to assist Gentleman with changing into pajamas and getting into bed. Assorted caregiving help as needed.

** Pay starts at $22/hr and goes to $25/hr after probationary period **

Hours = 3 pm – 7 pm (16 – 20 hrs)
Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays
(Saturday 3 pm – 7 pm) – only one person needed for this Saturday shift



2.) Caregiver – MUST have experience caregiving, PLEASE SEND RESUME

We are looking for a caregiver to help with easy breakfasts, 2 showers a week, house-keeping, and animal care. Experience working with Alzheimer’s/Dementia is preferred. The Gentleman needs 100% verbal prompting for ADLs and needs assistance dressing, knowing what activities to do, and general supervision. Must speak and understand English well.

Hours = 10 am – 2 pm (16 – 20 hrs)
Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays
(Saturday 3 pm – 7 pm) – only one person needed for this Saturday shift
