Seacrest Village is seeking a (Preferred) Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to serve as Director of Assisted Living. This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our Assisted Living community, ensuring exceptional resident care, operational excellence, and regulatory compliance.
The Director provides strong clinical and operational leadership, maintains fiscal responsibility, and collaborates closely with interdisciplinary teams to deliver a high standard of care while supporting residents, families, and staff.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, supervise, and support a large, diverse, 24/7 staff across all shifts, 365 days per year
Oversee departmental budgeting, financial planning, and efficient resource allocation
Collaborate with nursing, dietary, activities, housekeeping, and maintenance teams to ensure seamless resident care
Serve as a primary point of contact for residents and families, providing clear communication and compassionate support
Ensure full compliance with California Department of Social Services (CDSS) regulations and all applicable state and federal requirements
Monitor quality of care, resident satisfaction, and operational performance metrics
Develop and implement initiatives to improve resident experience, staff engagement, and overall community outcomes
Report directly to the CEO and executive leadership team, aligning Assisted Living operations with organizational goals


Qualifications

Current Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in the state of California (Preferred)
Minimum experience in Assisted Living or senior care management
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
Knowledge of California Assisted Living regulatory requirements (CDSS)
Proven ability to manage staff, budgets, and operational priorities
Commitment to compassionate, resident‑centered care
