IHSS CAREGIVER WANTED

Seeking a caregiver for my mother who lives in Watsonville.

Need someone reliable, responsible, caring, and trustworthy.

She has Huntington's and needs help with:
- bathing, changing and getting dressed
- ensuring that she takes medication daily
- not mobile in a wheelchair
- need help feeding
- getting to/from doctor's appointments (occasional)
- cleaning house
- laundry
- food prep she can't get up too cook

Female candidates are preferred.

You would be paid through the state IHSS program. They require you to complete a brief, in-person training and background check before you can get paid. These are held infrequently. If you are comfortable with waiting to get paid, you can start working before completing the in-person event. They will pay you retroactively up to 90 days
