Laundry Attendant - Make a Difference, One Load at a Time

Are you looking for meaningful work that brings dignity, care, and real support to people experiencing homelessness or going through very hard times? Join The Laundry Truck LA team! We are a non-profit organization providing free mobile laundry services to unhoused individuals and families across various locations.

Position Details:
✅ No experience necessary – training provided
✅ No driving involved
✅ Some lifting involved
✅ $20/hr compensation

6-8 hrs. Shifts Available (Starting ASAP!):
🕘 Part-Time Attendants:
- Wednesdays - Altadena and Chinatown
- Thursdays - Chinatown
- Fridays - Downtown LA
- Sundays - Pasadena
- Additional shifts may become available as we expand
- You can work one or all of the available shifts, depending on your availability!

🕘 On-Call / Extra Attendants:
- Fill-in shifts as needed – perfect for retirees or those with flexible schedules looking for occasional extra income

Immediate Hiring Process:
- Zoom interview next week
- First shifts will start the following week

Job Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist guests as they drop off and pick up their laundry
- Wash, dry, and fold multiple loads throughout the day
- Keep the laundry trailer clean, organized, and well-maintained
- Complete a short daily report at the end of each shift
- Represent The Laundry Truck LA with professionalism and kindness

What We’re Looking For:
✔️ Friendly, positive attitude – we serve with laundry AND a smile!
✔️ Good communication skills – some English required; Spanish, Mandarin, or Cantonese are a plus
✔️ Dependability – SHOWING UP IS A MUST!
✔️ Proactivity
✔️ Comfortable working independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment while serving guests with care, patience, and dignity
✔️ Able to troubleshoot minor equipment issues and remain calm and solution-focused when unexpected operational challenges occur with equipment
✔️ Handyman skills? Extra points!
