Position Overview
As a Lawncare Technician, you’ll take charge of our lawn care accounts completing the tasks with precision and attention to detail. You’ll communicate with clients and management, and make sure every job reflects our high standards.

Responsibilities
• Apply fertilizers, pesticides, and lawn chemicals safely and effectively
• Perform mowing, trimming, aerating, seeding, and topdressing
• Handle mulching, weeding, and general landscape maintenance
• Operate equipment: ride-on sprayers, aerators, seeders, manual sprayers
• Drive truck and trailer to job sites
• Assist landscape crews when lawn care tasks are complete
• Participate in residential and commercial snow removal during winter

Requirements
• Experience: Minimum 1+ year in lawn care (required)
• License: Iowa applicator’s license for pesticide application (required)
• Driving: Clean driving record and ability to operate truck/trailer
• Skills: Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to quality
• Comfortable working outdoors in hot, cold, and humid conditions
• Ability to use all tools and equipment safely and efficiently
• Ability to work both alone and with a team
• Must be available to participate in external marketing functions outside of normal business hours included but not limited to parades, home shows, festivals and other networking events

Additional Details
• Must commute to our yard in Elkhart, IA (north of Ankeny, off I-35)
• Flexible schedule (average 40 hours/week, may vary)
