DETAILS:

Most studies last 8–12 weeks
You receive about $100 per visit to the clinic during study
Some studies let you continue your current medications, while others require that you stop for the study


MUST:

Have diagnosed depression
Must have tried antidepressants in the past year that did NOT work well for you
Can be currently taking antidepressants or not
Some studies require that you stay on current antidepressants and others require that you come off of them for the study



MUST NOT HAVE:

Bipolar diagnosis
PTSD diagnosis
Schizophrenia symptoms
