LIHTC Leasing Consultant Requirements:
Familiarity with property management software such as Yardi, Onesite, etc.
Familiarity with low-income housing tax compliance (Tax Credit, HUD, Section 8)
Excellent customer service skills to provide a positive experience for residents and prospects
Knowledge of property leasing processes and regulations
Familiarity with preparing Lease Agreements and conducting background checks

Leasing Consultant Responsibilities:
Greet and assist prospective residents in a friendly and professional manner.
Conduct property tours and show units.
Provide information on rental rates, leasing specials, and property amenities.
Process rental applications and conduct background checks.
Prepare lease agreements and ensure all required documents are completed accurately.
Collect and process rental payments.
Coordinate move-in and move-out processes.
Address resident inquiries, concerns, and maintenance requests promptly and professionally.
Maintain accurate records of leasing activities and resident interactions.
