Job Description
I’m a Los Angeles–based founder running a creative brand and events studio.
I’m looking for a reliable, organized, and flexible assistant to support both business operations and light personal tasks, with the majority of work focused on my company.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, can handle shifting priorities, and wants real experience working closely with a founder.
Muy House is a creative studio and incubator based in Los Angeles, focused on helping founders and lifestyle brands grow through strategy, storytelling, community, and experiential events. Our work blends business, culture, and connection, and no two days look exactly the same.
What You’ll Help With
Business (primary focus):
-Email support and follow-ups
-Finding and organizing contacts (brands, partners, venues, vendors)
-Research and light outreach assistance
-Scheduling and calendar coordination
-Event prep and on-site help when needed
-General admin and organization
Bonus (not required, but a plus):
-Shooting iPhone content (events, behind-the-scenes)
-Basic video editing (CapCut, Premiere, Final Cut, etc.)
-Organizing content files and folders
-Helping prep simple social or marketing materials
-Social Media Experience
-Event Experience
You don’t need to be an expert, just capable, curious, and willing to learn.
Who You Are
-Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented
-Comfortable juggling different types of tasks
-Proactive and able to work independently
-Clear communicator and responsive
-Calm, adaptable, and trustworthy
-Must have reliable transportation
Bonus if you’re interested in startups, branding, events, or creative work.
Details
Part-time: 10–15 hours per week to start
Hourly pay: $20/hour + Comission On Any Sales/ Leads
Paid 30-day trial period
Flexible schedule
Hybrid role (mostly remote, occasional in-person in LA)
Opportunity for more hours and higher pay if it’s a strong fit
