Position Summary:
SCRS-IL is seeking an Advocate Training Coordinator to provide independent living services to people with disabilities in accordance with the Independent Living Philosophy. This position coordinates services, develops training, and supports consumers in achieving independence and community integration.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct consumer intake and develop Independent Living Plans (ILPs)

Coordinate services with internal specialists (housing, benefits, AT, etc.)

Provide advocacy, peer support, and skills training

Assist consumers with benefits, housing, and applications

Maintain accurate records and prepare monthly reports

Represent the organization at outreach and community events

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field, or 3–5 years relevant experience

Knowledge of disability services, public benefits, and housing programs

Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills

Bilingual preferred
