Part-Time Visual Merchandising Assistant

Looking for a part-time, visual merchandising assistant for gift shop in Athens, AL.

Tasks include but are not limited to:

- organizing attic and exterior shed with high volume of product
- lifting, moving and packing boxes
- rearranging furniture
- hanging items up high and from ceiling (must be comfortable on a ladder)
- cleaning and tidying sales floor
- can follow instructions and assemble displays, furniture, shelving, etc.
- a plus if comfortable with power tools
- painting and spray painting furniture


This is a part-time job with unpredictable hours. This is an ideal position for a college student, someone that does not have children or any dependents as the job has inconsistent hours.

The workload will shift based on the season and sales volume at store.

Ideal job for someone that is eager to work and get their hands dirty. We will be working inside and outside all seasons of the year., so comfortable shoes and clothes are required. If you’re dependable and a hard worker, you can work as many hours as desired. It’s hard work, but also fun!
