HVAC Service Dispatcher Needed

Are you organized, quick-thinking, and great with people? We're looking for an experienced HVAC Service Dispatcher to join our team and keep our technicians moving efficiently while delivering top-notch service to customers.
This role is the central hub of our operations: you schedule service calls, assign the right techs to the right jobs, communicate with customers and field teams, and help maximize productivity and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:

Answer incoming service calls, emails, and requests from customers
Schedule and dispatch HVAC technicians based on skills, location, urgency, and availability
Optimize routes to minimize travel time and improve efficiency
Provide customers with appointment confirmations, ETAs, updates, and handle rescheduling or issues
Communicate job details, parts needs, and any special instructions to technicians
Monitor job progress, update statuses, and close out completed calls
Maintain accurate records in our dispatch software/database
Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and basic troubleshooting professionally

Requirements:

2+ years of experience as a dispatcher (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or similar field service preferred; customer service/call center experience considered)
Excellent phone and communication skills (clear, friendly, professional demeanor)
Strong multitasking and organizational abilities in a fast-paced environment
Proficient with computers, Google Maps/routing tools
Knowledge of HVAC terminology and basic industry practices (or quick learner)
Ability to stay calm under pressure and prioritize effectively
High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications a plus
