Part-Time Special Education Assistant (Saturday) – Koreatown

Position: Part-Time Special Education Assistant Teacher (Saturday)
Location: Koreatown, Los Angeles
Compensation: $25 per hour

Kiwoom Academy, a growing educational center in Koreatown, is seeking a compassionate and reliable Special Education Assistant Teacher to support our Saturday program for students with diverse learning needs.

Responsibilities
• Assist lead teachers during small-group lessons and structured activities
• Support students with autism and other learning differences
• Help maintain a positive, safe, and structured classroom environment
• Encourage appropriate social interaction and communication
• Provide behavioral and academic support as needed

Qualifications
• Genuine passion for working with children and adolescents
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Reliable, punctual, and responsible

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working with students with special needs (autism, ADHD, learning disabilities, etc.)
• Understanding of executive functioning skills
• Energetic, patient, and enthusiastic personality
• Korean language proficiency highly preferred


This is a Saturday position and is ideal for education majors, psychology majors, aspiring teachers, or individuals interested in special education or behavioral support.
