Route Driver-Class C Bobtail

Bon Suisse, Inc. is a fast-growing DSD distributor of refrigerated & frozen products with several distribution depots throughout California, Nevada, and Arizona. We have been in business for over 36+ years delivering dairy and ice cream products to grocery stores, restaurants, stadiums, schools, and everything in between.
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Route Driver to join our team in our Sacramento location. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering goods to various locations while ensuring exceptional customer service. This role requires driving a box truck or van, operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks, and maintaining accurate delivery records. A strong focus on safety and efficiency is essential.
Duties
Safely operate a box truck or van to deliver products to designated locations.
Load and unload goods using forklifts and pallet jacks as needed.
Ensure timely and accurate deliveries while adhering to scheduled routes.
Maintain clear communication with customers, providing excellent customer service during each delivery.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety compliance.
Keep accurate records of deliveries, including any discrepancies or issues encountered during the route.
Assist in warehouse operations when not on the road, including inventory management and organization.
Start times vary from 4am-5am and most shifts are 8-10 hours Monday-Friday. Weekend work is optional if needed.
Requirements
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Previous experience as a delivery driver or in commercial driving preferred.
Familiarity with operating box trucks, vans, forklifts, and pallet jacks is advantageous.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks associated with moving goods.
Basic knowledge of warehouse operations is a plus.
Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Compensation: Competitive Wage Paid Bi Weekly -$43,680.00 annually depending on Experience.
