Chez Noir Hiring a Bartender

Chez Noir is a small Michelin Starred restaurant in downtown Carmel-By-The-Sea. We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Bartender to join our Team. The ideal applicant is punctual, passionate about food, wine, and cocktails, and willing to come to work every day with the goal of bettering themselves and their team.

- We are hiring for an immediate start date.
- This is a full time, evening position - We only serve dinner. Full Weekend availability is a must.
- Shifts begin at 3pm and may end after midnight on busy nights.

You:
- Are a self-starter, and don't often sit on your hands.
- Have an acute attention to detail and are able to recognize and act on an opportunity to improve your guest's experience.
- Can communicate effectively and professionally with both your team and guests in high-pressure situations.
- Thrive in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment.
- Are able to graciously accept help and work well with a team.
- Show up to work daily in a clean and well-kempt uniform.
- Have at least baseline knowledge of wine.
- Enjoy tasting delicious food, wine, and craft cocktails and are able to quickly digest and retain new information as menus change.
- Possess a warm and kind spirit and enjoy sharing it with others.
- Ideally have experience in fine dining - but we will work with the right candidate.
- Can be on your feet for 8+ hours a day
